Anthony Joshua is preparing to fight Alexander Usyk in a massive fight for the heavyweight world title on Saturday.

It was announced that Joshua would fight Fury for the undisputed world heavyweight title in the summer, but Gypsy King, the WBC champion, was ordered to fight Deontay Wilder and the WBO told Joshua that he must fight the mandatory challenger Usyk. The Ukrainian has not lost in his 18 professional fights to date. He will be a difficulty for Joshua.
Joshua is ready for the next meeting with Fury. Joshua and his team signed a contract for two fights with Tyson Fury and were ready to fight him in Saudi Arabia. The fight with Usyk will be for Joshua’s WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles, and the Englishman must be successful to maintain his hopes of keeping all the heavyweight belts.

Joshua defeated Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev last December and will now be going to do the same against Usik. Joshua has won 24 and lost one of his 25 fights. Usyk has not lost in 18 fights and cannot be underestimated. The former world heavyweight champion, in particular, knocked out Tony Bellew before moving up to the top boxing division. So a Ukrainian cannot be ruled out, especially after Joshua’s failure against Andy Ruiz in June 2019.
