Recently, the organizers of the BLAST Premier Fall tournament have announced that the event will run without splitting teams into regional divisions. Three groups have been brought together to contend in one single online championship based in Europe. The tournament is set to start on October 26 and end on November 4.
Additionally, changes in the participant list have been reported. Thus, FURIA and BIG replace 100T and Liquid. The latter, however, will join the event in the next stage — Fall Showdown, which will be held at the end of November.
All in all, the final group allocation is as follows:
The competition will be in the double-elimination format with Bo3 matches. The top two teams from each group will be moved forward to the Fall Finals scheduled for December, the others will continue to compete in Fall Showdown.
The overall prize fund was summated as well, and it will amount to $150,000, with a $25,000 1st-3rd place reward.
Given these alterations, the tournament is expected to be an exciting large-scale battle between the tough opponents from Europe and America.
