The next series of CS:GO DreamHack Open starts tomorrow, March 10, and will go on for five days, ending on March 14. This CS:GO competition will take place online in two regional divisions — North America and South America.

North America

In North America, six CS:GO squads have received direct invites for participation, and two more contestants have been seeded through qualifiers.

So, eight teams will be split into two groups to play a series of Bo3 matches according to the Double-Elimination system. The top two teams from each group will make it into the playoffs, which will feature a Single-Elimination tournament with Bo3 semifinal matches and Bo5 Grand Final. The prize pool for the division will amount to $70,000, with a $35,000 first-place reward.

South America

In South America, two CS:GO teams have been invited directly, the other two have gotten through closed qualifiers.

The event will start right with playoffs, the contestants will play in the Double-Elimination bracket with a series of Bo3 matches and Bo5 Grand Final. This tournament will have a $30,000 prize pool, the winner will get $16,000 and 60 ESL Pro Tour points.

Both regional victors will qualify for IEM Summer 2021.

Who has a better chance of winning?

In North America, Team Liquid can be considered the tournament favorite. The squad currently takes the 6th position in the ESL Ranking. The team has proven itself by performing strongly at such great CS:GO tournaments as the IEM XV World Championship and BLAST Premier Global Final 2020.

As for South America, it’s quite difficult to determine a favorite here, for the participating teams show almost the same level of performance. However, Imperial e-Sports is now a higher-ranked team than others in this division.

So, hurry up to make up your mind about the potential winner and place your bets with the best odds on Cyber.bet!
