CS:GO fans are eagerly waiting for the next season of ESL Pro League. And we are glad to announce that the League returns as early as March 8! The 4-week global event will feature competition between the strongest CS:GO squads from Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania. The best of the best in CS:GO will fight for the overall prize fund of $750,000 and the ESL Pro League title! All the details about the upcoming tournament are in this post and all matches are already available to bet on with the high odds on Cyber.bet.

And the rest contestants are the winners of ESEA S35 EU Premier and ESEA S35 NA Premier: Endpoint and Team One.

Format

The event will include three stages: groups, play-in, and playoffs. Playoffs were initially set to take place offline in Malta. However, due to travel restrictions, all stages will be online.

The League will start with the group stage with four round-robin groups of six teams competing. The four group winners will advance to the play-in stage. The second and third-place teams will compete in a single-elimination round of 12. The play-in will be a single-elimination tournament with all matches in the best-of-3 format. The winners will proceed to the semifinals and the losers — to the quarterfinals. That way, by the playoff stage, there will be twelve squads seeded to compete according to the single-elimination system with best-of-3 matches and best-of-5 Grand Final. The future victor will get $175,000, 1300 ESL Pro Tour Points, and a slot at BLAST Premier Global Final 2021!

Favorites

Among the tournament favorites are such top ESL ranking teams as Astralis, Team Vitality, NAVI, Team Liquid.

For Danish Astralis has been confidently retaining the first spot in the ESL rankings for several years, the squad can be considered a potential winner. Despite some recent failures at BLAST Premier Spring Groups, the Danes intend to show squads like Team Vitality, NAVI, and Team Liquid that they still stand strong! Additionally, Astralis won ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe and has a good chance to gain a victory this time! However, it was NAVI that defeated the world’s top team at the BLAST Premier Global Final just recently. These guys from CIS have been producing good tournament results lately and are ready to strive for victory as well! Who will take a lead in this CS:GO race for the ESL Pro League title and BLAST Premier Global Final 2021 spot?
