Two games of Cyber.bet Cup: Spring Series – EU play-off were played on May 18. OG Seed played versus Aggressive Mode in the upper bracket final and Team Empire Hope faced Unique in the lower bracket round two.
Aggressive Mode became one of the breakthroughs of the event. The team that suffered a lot before Cyber.bet Cup managed to find their game and shock favorites. After beating Unique, AM were close to win the game versus OG Seed. They took the first map and forced the Seeds to the full best of three. Unfortunately for Greeks, they lost two maps and dropped to the lower bracket.
Unique in the lower bracket faced Team Empire Hope. Young prospects from Empire were not able to give more experienced opponent a real fight. They lost the first one quite heavily and were looking OK on the second one until series of crucial mistakes in the mid-game that costed them a loss.
