Cyber.Bet Dota 2 Spring Series – Europe. Closed qualifiers day 1 recap

On May 7 the first four games of Cyber.Bet Dota 2 Spring Series European closed qualifiers were played. Eight teams were fighting in the upper bracket quarterfinal.

The first match between NOVA and IMG as we predicted in our qualifiers preview turned to be one-sided. NOVA was much stronger than Mongolian team and needed only 26 minutes to end the first map and 22 to get an easy win. No Bounty Hunter and TEMPO, despite 2:0 score line, showed the fight at least on the first map but NoBH went further.

The game between F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and Team Heroic was the most unpredictable. The first map ended very fast as Heroic managed to push with their Beastmaster and Death Prophet setup. The second map lasted for 45 minutes and Heroic could clinch a win. In the last series of the day, FTM 2.0 easily overcame Family Team.

On May 8, NOVA face NoBH and Heroic play versus FTM 2.0. The winners of those match-ups are just one step from the main event. Do not forget that the best odds for betting on Cyber.Bet Dota 2 Spring Series are available on our website.
