More about new Major qualifiers system you can learn here. In most of the regions, the event ended few weeks ago but the tournaments in Europe and CIS were over on May 17.

In Europe the best team in the world took what belongs to them. The biggest sensation of CIS was NAVI’s failure. They did not manage to make it to the play-offs. In their Group all six teams had the same 2:2 score line before the last day. Natus Vincere lost to Hard Legion 0:2 and were out of the event. Team Spirit featuring chopper and mir took the first place in this region. In North America Evil Geniuses surprised anyone by not making it through to play-off as well. Team Liquid also let their fans down as they took only the fourth place. Gen.G won the event by beating FURIA and the grand final. Cloud9 took the third place.

In South America Indonesian organization BOOM with their Brazilian roster featuring boltz and felps won the league while Renegades took the first place in Oceania. Mongolian team TIGER surprisingly overcame Chinese favorites to win the event in Asia.
