ESL Pro League Season 12 North America: how it all panned out

Having lasted from September 1, ESL Pro League Season 12 North America wrapped up on September 27. The online event ended in FURIA’s victory.

During the championship, FURIA blanked the region’s leading team – Evil Geniuses. Following the victorious course, in the final match, the Brazilians triumphed over the Australian team, 100 Thieves, without giving them an opportunity to counter, for the future champion had started the match with a one-map advantage. In the net, FURIA capped the fight with a 3:0 win over the Australians.

100 Thieves, though, produced good tournament results, getting through the lower bracket final and gaining victories over Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid. However, later, they lost their fortunes. For the Australian team, it was the first play-off since last November, therefore they could be satisfied with a runner-up result and their lower-bracket performance.

Thus, the best eight teams had competed for the overall prize pool of $225,000, which was eventually divided as listed below.

Were you doubtful about FURIA’s win? We hope not!
