FATE became the champions of Cyber.bet Summer Cup 2020

Bulgarian team FATE became the champions of CS:GO Cyber.bet Summer Cup 2020. In the grand final of the event, they beat HellRaisers 3:2, despite having one map disadvantage and being down 0:2 after the first map played. The whole tournament was great for the CS:GO gambling lovers and pure Counter-Strike fans, and the grand final was not an exception.

HellRaisers beat FATE in the upper bracket grand final and were ready to repeat this as they had one map advantage in the best of five grand final. The match started as HR could not even imagine. They took FATE’s map Train with ease 16:11. The next battleground was HR’s pick Vertigo, which is one of the worst FATE’s map. As we wrote in our grand final preview, FATE needed to perform a miracle on Vertigo to have a good chance to take the series, and they did it!

They won CT-side 9:6 and were leading 15:11, but HR managed to equalize. However, FATE clinched their win in overtime, and the series went on. On Mirage HellRaisers were looking good in defense and won the half 10:5. On the other hand, their attack was weak, and they managed to win only one round on T-side.

The decisive map Inferno turned to be easy for FATE. HellRaisers could take only five points in attack, won the pistol round, but the lost six rounds in a row.

In such a way, FATE became the champions of Cyber.Bet Summer Cup 2020 and earned $6000. HR received $3000, while Illuminar, which stayed in third place, made $1000.
