Last week two top CS:GO pro players announced their break from competitive scene. They are Astralis captain Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and FaZe Clan sniper Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer.
Gla1ve stated that he is taking break from competitive CS:GO for three months due to symptoms of stress and burnout. He will take his time to fully rest and then come back to the team. Lucas was playing for Astralis since October 2016 after his transfer from Heroic. He is substituted by Jakob “JUGI” Hansen who joined the team not so long ago from North. Emil “Magisk” Reif took the role of the in-game leader. Astralis have already played three games at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 without gla1ve so far. They beat both North and Heroic 2:0 but lost to G2 with the same score line.

Olofmeister decided to take a break due to fatigue and loss of motivation. He did not tell for how he plans to stay away from pro scene. This is not the first break for him during recent years. Just few months after he transferred from Fnatic to FaZe he was out with hand injury.
According to inside sources, young Lithuanian talent Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras is stepping in. It is worth mentioning that another talent from Baltic is already playing for FaZe as Latvian Helvijs “broky” Saukants joined FaZe in September 2019.
