Valve have announced that Dota 2 world championship called The International would not be held as planned. The International 10 was scheduled for August 18-23 in Globen Arena, Stockholm, Sweden but now it was delayed indefinitely due to coronavirus pandemic.
League of Legends developer and publisher Riot Games cancelled annual international tournament Mid-Season Invitational. The event was always held in the middle of the season and gathered spring split champions of primary and wild card regions.
The International 5 winners Peter “ppd” Dager and Saahil “Universe” Arora stated that they retire from professional Dota 2 as players. Their last organization was Swedish Ninjas in Pyjamas.
