T1 dominate Gen.G to win their yet another LCK champions title

League Champions Korea Spring Split play-off has come to its end and T1 proved themselves as the strongest Korean League of Legends team yet again.

LCK Spring split started on February 5 in its familiar studio format but later matches were played without live audience and finally transferred to online due to coronavirus outbreak. Gen.G, T1 and DragonX ended the regular season with the same stats 14:4. Gen.G took the first place while T1 stayed second due to tiebreak indicators. KT Rolster and DAMWON took the remaining two play-off spots. It is worth mentioning that LCK Summer 2019 finalists and Worlds 2019 quarter finalists from Griffin took the last place.

In the first play-off match, DAMWON overcame KT 2:1 and then lost in the extremely close match to DragonX 2:3. T1 lost only one game to DragonX to go through to the grand final versus Gen.G. The match was held on studio, as the situation with coronavirus is Korea became stable.

Unfortunately for League of Legends fans, the grand final turned to be a stomp. The first game was equal and T1 needed 50 minutes to take a win, but every next game was easier. T1 won the third map with 21:7 score line and faster than 30 minutes. T1 and Faker got their third LCK champions title in a row.

Thereby, three out of four big league finals ended with the score line 3:0. You can learn more about LCS and LEC play-offs here.
