Riot Games has reported the great news! They’ll host a large-scale competition – First Strike. It is their first VALORANT championship and basis for the regional events. The contest will include two stages. The online qualifying round is going to kick off in late October, it’ll be arranged by the third-party organizers. The final round will be held by Riot Games themselves in December.
All gamers aged sixteen plus with the Immortal 1 rank are allowed to play in the qualifying round (the organizers recommend that you read the full rules and conditions once they’re issued).
During qualifying matches, home-gamers and pros will have a chance to display their high proficiency competing for participation in Finals. Various events across the world will run in 8 regions: North America, Europe, CIS, Turkey, Asia, Oceania, Brazil, the Middle East. Taking part in them, players will gain points, eight top-scorers will be qualified for the First Strike Finals to be played on December 3-6. The winners of the last stage will get official titles of regional VALORANT champion.
The rules of participation, exact dates of the event, qualifiers, and all the details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
